The Confederation of Australian Motor Sport (CAMS):
Will has been supported by the newley formed Australian Motor Sport Foundation (AMSF), a subsidary of CAMS, who funded part of his 2003 and 2004 British F3 seasons. The CAMS foundation follow Australian potentials in their quest for motor sport careers abroad and often help out financially in some way. In 2005 the AMS Foundation and CAMS again provided Will with support, which enabled him to sign with top WSR team, Carlin Motorsport.
Australian Grand Prix Corporation:
In 2004, Will was made an ambassador for the Australian Grand Prix Corporation (AGPC).
In his role, he attended the 2004 Australian Grand Prix at Albert Park and over the four day event, participated in many of the media and promotional activities organised by the AGPC. It also gave Will the opportunity to rub shoulders with some of the sport’s biggest names as well as provided him with introductions to F1 teams and personnel.
In 2005, Will returned to the Australian Grand Prix to fulfil his duties and as Will signed with Carlin Motorsport on the Tuesday of Grand Prix week, it was a great oppotunity for him to meet up with team MD and then Jordan Formula One team Sporting Director, Trevor Carlin.
It was through the AGPC that Will’s 2004 Minardi F1 test was organised. At the Austrailan Grand Prix they announced the test and Will was able to meet with Paul Stoddart and get some insight into the world of Formula One.
